Anti-wrinkle injections
Botulinum Toxin has been used in medicine since the 1970s when it was used to help treat people with cross-eyes. It was soon noticed that the patients had a visible reduction in wrinkles around the eyes, sparking further research into cosmetic uses.

The toxin blocks the signal between nerve endings and muscles in the area injected, resulting in temporary muscle weakness, in turn reducing bothersome wrinkles.

You have probably heard anti-wrinkle treatments being referred to as Botox, but this is a brand name and one of several licenced products available in the UK along with Azzalure, Bocouture, Letybo and Nuceiva. Fake products and illegal imports are easily available on the black market, so always ensure your injector prescribes the product in your name and orders from a registered pharmacy.

The most common areas to treat are the frown lines, crows feet and forehead lines. However there is so much more that toxin can do from slimming down your jawline to improving jowling - ask me more at your consultation.

While this treatment is overall incredibly safer there are some risks and some medications and illnesses which are a contraindication to treatment. Therefore it is vital to attend a face to face consultation before treatment.

Once administered it takes around two weeks to see results, at which point small adjustments can be made if necessary. Expect results to last around 3 months.

Prices start from £200 and include a 2 week review appointment.
